ACE provides a variety of business development and marketing seminars and workshops to help you be more strategic about and successful in your pursuits. From relationship building to proposal preparation to wowing your client at the interview, we have a program to help you win that next project.
Looking to optimize your business development efforts to win more work? If so, maybe what you need are more Rainmakers. In this informative and engaging session presented by Deirdre Gilmore, CPSM, President of TANK GIRL Marketing, attendees will learn how to:
In this interactive class, presented by Deirdre Gilmore, CPSM, President of TANK GIRL Marketing, attendees will learn what clients really want to see in your proposals and how to customize your proposals to target what really matters to the client, create a strategic message and communicate it easily, use simple design techniques to make your proposal more reader friendly, avoid costly mistakes and much, much more. Come ready to have your questions answered about putting together those winning proposals.
So you’ve been shortlisted and invited to an interview – what now? Interviewing for a project can be a challenge for many design professionals and contractors, but it doesn’t have to be. Understanding key principles for preparation and presenting can put you over the top.
In this program attendees will gain a thorough understanding of what works and what does not work when interviewing for public sector projects. Gain feedback and learn proven techniques from winning interviews, hear what they look for directly from Public Sector Owners involved in the interview process for design professional and contractor selections, and have an opportunity to meet them and ask questions about your experiences and what best practices they have seen.
You’ve been invited to the interview, and you are pretty sure you have a handle on how to plan and prepare for your presentation (hopefully because you have attended our Interview Best Practices class). How do you know your plan will work, or that your team is ready to go?
Participants in this class will learn how to make the room work for them, and then have a chance to apply their planning and preparation skills by developing and delivering a mock interview presentation. Participants have the chance to ask questions about development ideas and techniques while you prepare, and then present your mock project to an interview panel of owners and a contractor representative. Feedback is instant and thorough. Enhance your chances to be selected by registering your entire team!
