ACE offers a variety of non-credit certification programs for participants in the construction industry who need or want more formal industry related knowledge in such areas as construction project management, project delivery and business development. The programs, taught by industry experts and ASU faculty, are specifically designed to serve the educational needs of working professionals.
ACE currently offers the following professional certification programs:
ACE certification programs provide training on a specific topic for which participants receive a certificate of completion and continuing education units after completing the training. Upon successful demonstration of the knowledge acquired through either a comprehensive final examination or a project demonstrating application (depends on program) the particpant will receive professional recognition with a credential and use of a professional designation that indicates the credential earned.

The ACE Certified Construction Project Manager Program (CCPM) covers the vast body of knowledge about project management in the construction industry, presented through stimulating, interactive instruction and classroom activities. Topics are presented in 10 easy to understand half-day modules by instructors who are academic and industry experts with years of experience and proven success in their areas of expertise. Participants will learn how to succeed in project management in the construction industry, no matter what role they represent.
This program provides participants with the basic concepts and skills for construction industry success from conception through delivery. Learn essential skills for productivity and profitability, expand personal growth and leadership, and how to manage your projects to increase your value to the organization and gain a competitive professional advantage.
The CCPM covers more than the construction phase of a project - it includes activities from preconstruction through commissioning, including procurement, project controls, contracts, and more - imparting the skill sets to succeed in business and manage any project. Participants will also enhance your understanding of project and business management skills such as staffing, communication, negotiations, quality control and subcontractor/supplier management.

The ACE CCPM Program is a non-credit CEU program for current or aspiring construction industry professionals - Project Managers, Construction Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Subcontractors, Developers, and other professionals from every discipline in commercial, residential, public works and specialty construction. There are no prerequisites to enroll in this program, however basic knowledge about the construction process is assumed. A certificate of completion will be awarded after successfully completing the program.
The Certified Job Order Contracting Professional program (CJP) is the training program for JOC professionals leading to certification as a Certified JOC Professional from the Center for Job Order Contracting Excellence (CJE). Through this partnership, ACE and CJE developed this six module program with technical training and case studies delivered in half-day sessions, with an optional culminating exam for those seeking certification.

The CJP program is a 24 hour non-credit CEU program. There are no prerequisites to enroll in this program, but basic knowledge about the construction and JOC process will be assumed. 2.4 non-credit CEU’s will be awarded for all who attend and successfully complete the 6 modules of instruction. Designation as a Certified JOC Professional will be awarded by CJE upon successful completion of the course with a passing score achieved on the optional exam.
The Construction Equipment Management Academy (CEMA) is an intensive, multi-day executive level program designed for equipment managers, financial managers and operations specialists who seek tools, techniques and ideas to improve fleet management and increase return on investment. It builds the confidence and creativity needed to develop new solutions, innovate and change.

The Certified Business Developer program (CBD) is a training program for business development professionals leading to certification as a Certified Business Developer from the Business Development Guild (BDG). Through this partnership, ACE and BDG developed this six module program, delivered in half-day sessions, to assist with the integration of business development and operational efforts.
